Train Journey

What a nightmare!! Photoshoot in Woking. Left Congleton at 06.10 and got to Euston now problem.. A few anouncements about snow which I ignored. Should have know. Underground to Waterloo and all trains cancelled - except the one to Woking!! Got the train, got to the photoshoot venue (a very nice gym) - whole thing is cancelled and nobody had told me because the mobile service was down. Back I go, through the crowds via underground, Euston, Northampton, back to Milton Keynes, down again to Birmingham, then Stoke-on-trent and finally arrive in Congleton again at 6.30 in the evening, 12 hours after I left!! Aarrgh - anyway, met a couple of nice people on the train. I hope the student from Staffs uni got back OK, the engineering student from Coventry enjoyed his beer, the lady with the poorly foot survived, and all is well with the world in general.
